Delivered to the door before Ramzan begins
Food prices rise in the weeks before Ramzan, which is exactly when households need more. Our ration packs are put together and delivered before the month begins, so families are not left waiting or queuing in public for help.
Each pack holds a month of staples for an average household: flour, rice, cooking oil, pulses, sugar, tea, dates and spices. Volunteers deliver to the home, which keeps things private and lets us check on families we already know through the education and widows projects.
Recipients come from our verified list, with priority for widow-headed households and the families of students we support.
