Every child deserves a future worth working for

Azra Safdar Foundation keeps students in school with scholarships and free tuition, and supports their families with healthcare and relief so that a crisis at home does not end a child's education.

Our projects

Keeping students in school

Education is our main work. Our other projects deal with the problems that take a child out of the classroom.

How we work

How we decide where to help

Three commitments we hold to on every project.

  1. Step 01

    We ask first

Every project starts with conversations in the community, so we fund what families tell us they need.

  2. Step 02

    We check

Every request is confirmed with a home visit before it joins our list, so help reaches the households that need it most.

  3. Step 03

    We report back

We keep a record of what each project spends and share it with the people who funded it.

There are two ways to help

Volunteers keep our running costs low, which means more of every donation reaches a student or a family.

Every donation goes towards a named project and we send you a receipt. Bank transfer details are on the donate page.
